Masks can be a cute accessory or even a statement that everyone stands in awe of. We all know that masks can be a bother, so why not make them fun? Many companies have started designing their own masks, so here are just a few recommendations for the safest and most fashionable ones. Scientists have said that cloth masks are some of the best, but only when they cannot be seen through when held up to the light. More specifically, when made from cotton, they can even prevent acne and skin irritation due to rubbing and dryness. Silk masks are also a great alternative to prevent acne and create a fashion-forward look with their shiny features. There are a variety of different colors and patterns for boys and girls all around the world that provide a new way for teenagers to express themselves. Westminster gave students an opportunity to make masks fun, with only a few guidelines about avoiding masks with any inappropriate drawings on them.
Some of the best companies to purchase masks from are Revolve, Urban Outfitters, LoveShack Fancy (pricy), Amazon and Etsy. All of these companies have a variety of fun and affordable masks, which makes it easy to choose some that adhere to everyone’s individual style. MDacne also makes affordable masks to keep skin clear, along with Amazon’s silk masks that also provide the best protection against COVID-19. Overall, the pandemic has been a challenge for all of us, but buying more fashionable masks can create something positive in our community and allow students to have the opportunity to express themselves however they like.
