I sent out a Google Forms survey and an Instagram story for my fellow Third Formers to answer one crucial question: Where is the best study hall location? The main contenders were Sejong and dorm rooms, but other beloved places were named as well. Follow along with this fun article to see if you have a similar taste in study hall locations.
I received 11 responses on the forms and 17 responses on my Instagram story. In the forms, most people chose their dorm rooms as the best study hall location, as you can see in the large red chunk of the pie chart below. Surprisingly, only one person chose Sejong, and one person didn’t care at all, but still completed the form.

Your room is private, quiet, cozy and not to mention yours, thus making it a more comfortable place to study. Some may find it easier to focus as there aren’t any friends to make eye contact with from across the hall.

Others, however, enjoy the presence of their peers while studying. Out of the 17 people who responded to my Instagram poll, nine of them chose Sejong. A proctored study hall allows you to direct all your focus on getting that homework done and changing that status to “completed.”

Whatever your preference for study hall locations is, make sure to work smart, and your efforts will be rewarded. Good luck with your future study hall endeavors!
